Rockstone music
production was formed in 1998 by Hopeton Lewis as a music production
company, involved in the recording and producing the music of Mr.
Lewis and other young, upcoming artistes.
The first recording was a CD entitled, "This
Is Gospel " recorded by Hopeton Lewis
in Jamaica W.I. and distributed in New York by VP Records. Mr. Lewis
then moved the company to New York in 1999.
Now this
company has grown into one of the largest Gospel recording label in
the tri-state area, and in 2003 will be venturing into the marketing,
promotions, productions and management of gospel artistes from the
Caribbean and internationally.
This company has produced over ten (10) music CDs to date and is
moving to another level along with "Songs
4 Life Ministry" to promote live
gospel shows worldwide.
As the founder/director of the
Caribbean Gospel Music
Awards
USA, his production company and gospel music ministry -
Songs 4 Life Ministry,
bring together the cream of the crop of Caribbean Gospel singers for
this grand music award, held in New York annually.
Rockstone Music Productions and Distribution serves as a gospel music
record label with a growing roster of talented songwriters and
singers.
