Voting
The Caribbean Gospel Music Awards was
founded in 1999 by legendary Hopeton Lewis to recognize, promote
and encourage Caribbean Gospel Singers and their Ministry.
These Awards are for record / CDs /
DVD sales and /or performances
from January 1st to December 31st of
each year.
SPECIAL AWARDS
Lifetime Achievement Awards are
presented to outstanding individuals in the Gospel Music
Industry 20 years or more.
Community Service Award is presented
each year to a person(s) or company(s) that has done the most
for Caribbean Community for the year in which the Gospel Awards
is presented.
International Award of Merit is
presented each year to a person(s) or company(s)that has done
the most for Caribbean Gospel Music for the year in which the
Gospel Awards is presented.
The Caribbean Gospel Music Spiritual
Award is presented each year to a person (s) or company (s) who
has been outstanding in the Gospel industry 10 years or more.
EVALUATION OF RECORDS / CDs
Each record / CDs will be evaluated in
the following categories.lyrics, musical background,
originality, arrangements, sales, quality, production, overall
performance.
